I'm Sorry For Being Away
I'm so sorry to everyone for being away these last few months. I want to thank Nyx, swmeek, and especially Flamey for keeping a watch, and these forums in tip top shape.
On my end, we've been fighting a ton of politics with Internet Brands and the dismal failure of vBulletin 4. It's been a nightmare to utilize and administer and I must say I am not happy one bit about the software. Some of the glitches have been completely show stoppers and after several conversations, and an a in-person meeting with their business manager, I have to concede that this is going no where, and I need to look at alternative.
I'm happy to report that the last four weeks have been spent researching new platforms, and we've settled on a new one. We're immediately configuring Wordpress for use among majority of our sites, that has minimal content. The transition will be rough, but things will hopefully smooth out soon.
Forums will remain with vBulletin until I've decided there is a more suitable replacement.
Stay tune as we do more configuration, but I will have to say the dust has not settled yet.
