    1UP Show Special: SimCity Societies

1Up has posted a 19 minute preview on SimCity Societies. Developers sit down with 1Up to do an indepth interview of SimCity Societies. It's a good video that gives you a comprehensive view of SimCity Societies.

IMHO? The best part of the video was the 1UP Show song at the end. :p

I mean, WHAT THE HECK? A 90 second ADVERT for another game shown part way through this video?

Yep the video was good - it does give you an excellent view of the game. Thanks to 1UP - I now know I will not be buying this game. To be honest, I was falling asleep throughout the video. Kudos to the representative from 1UP who succeeded in showing professional enthusiasm. I couldn't have remained neutral. :p

Trying to contain my volatile revulsion at the moment. The game just isn't my cup of tea. It's not SimCity. They have no right to call it SimCity. They keep going on and on about the ability to create an Orwellian Society, and how you can profit from crime by creating corrupt police stations. They say you can create a society of very unhappy people where your only task is to make money, not make them happy. Excuse me? Is that fun? Do I want to see dark clouds and foggy polluted lighting? Do I want to mess around with dive bars?

The video certainly shows you more about the look and feel of the game. Thanks for the insight, 1UP. Someone will like it. I didn't.

    *mutters and runs off*

I now return you to your regularly scheduled forum. :D
