2 questions 1: I know there is a cheat to make your own dorm building. I used it once and it worked, I just cant remember it anymore. Any help? 2: IN UNiversity EP there are 4 more carreers to choose from, but can you only choose these if you went to university? I had my sim, Patricia Warner(great-grandaughter of one of the Warner Brothers!) to search like mad to become an actress, but n0o luck.Please help
I'm not sure that you need a cheat to make a dorm. Do you mean, to build your own from scratch? If so, I think you can use a dorm template and change it before anyone moves in. AFter they move in the building tool is disabled. Maybe it is before, too ... haven't tried it. I plopped an empty dorm down in my Uni when I needed a new one and it worked fine. As for the new careers, yes, sadly, they must complete college first. If they don't they can only choose from the old ones.
1. First you build the house, then you can convert it to a dorm using "ChangeLotZoning dorm". Same with "ChangeLotZoning Greek" "ChangeLotZoning secretsociety" and the others. If you use the secret society one, remember it disappears and you can't access it without your Sim going there from their living quarters. They recommend that you not use the code when there are Sims on the lot. Also, if you change to community, sometimes the lots will have to have the phone added, since it keeps the mailbox and garbage can from residential. 2. For the University careers, you can only have those (without cheating, that is) if the Sim has graduated from University.
