2008 Southern California Firestorms Hey Everyone: I thought I'd give a small team update since we're dealing with Firestorms again in SoCal. Let me first say where we call headquarters for WorldSims and Urban Online Entertainment is in no immediate danger, however we are nervous to say the least. At one point Saturday evening, we could see the orange glow of the fire on the horizon from my window. All team members (bleriotusa, hayclian, djizzle, waynelinazn, whereinfinityend and myself) are fine as we are more west of the fire, but we're not out of the clear yet. Currently the fire that poses a danger would be what they're calling the "Triangle Complex Fire". While the fire is blowing away from us, our concerns are if it suddenly reverses direction, we would be required to evacuate. Our attention is focused currently on Saturday, but we're occasionally glancing at another computer screen for the latest news. We'll let you know if any other major developments occur. Well as of yesterday morning the entire fires were contained. We're expecting them to be extinguished by late tonight.
That's good to hear. Right about the same time that you're about to put on your event. Don't need something like the fires to distract you guys!
