20th Century Fox will be evolving ‘Spore’ to the big screen What…the…fudge…mmmmmm fudge…* It was bad enough we were expecting a movie based on The Sims…but a whole movie based on Spore?* This is shocking.* Seems like EA wants to bring Spore to the big screen, The Hollywood Reporter posted a news piece that 20th Century Fox has struck a deal with the video game giant to bring a full length film into theaters.* Plans are set to have Chris Wedge to direct it (the guy behind “Ice Age” and “Robots”) with writers Greg Erb and Jason Oremland. No idea how this will work out.* Spore is so advanced, it could easily already be used for any certain movie…Are they using the game’s engine?* Characters?* Look and feel?* So many questions.* I guess I should go in this with an open mind…it just seems so strange Share and Enjoy:
