A question about Apartment Life I'm becoming more curious about this game since seeing some pictures. Will each apartment building be like a dorm in Uni or will each apartment be like a house? Some of those apartments look HUGE, more like a house. So I'm wondering if they will be able to hang out in the halls or will there be any type of community areas in the apartment buildings. Ruthie
I think it's going to be like a dorm sort of. You will have a list of sorts of people living in there but you can only control one family at a time. Surely you can go and visit other people by knocking on the door like in a dorm.
Well like in uni we have a list of the people in the house. Do you think in an apartment building we would have a list of families. Then when we choose which family we want to play it would expand to show everyone in that household? Or do you think we would have a list of every playable in that building? I would think they would have to break it up into families/households to keep your screen from looking cluttered. Maybe we would enter the building and then click on the door of the family we want to play. Ruthie
Ruthie have you been over to the sims resource and looked at their previews pictures there? If I recall correctly there is a screen that shows the people and families living in an apartment building which you then pick the ones you want to play. I know it gives you so many choices to pick from on familes in the building and I'm thinking there's a limit to the number of controllable sims you can have as well any npc tenants in the building who I think you can interact with like the npc dormies.
From what I've read at TSR, there will be as many as 4 families in one building, and we will be able to select which one to play, when clicking on the house.
No TSR is blocked by websense for me. Actually I'm surprised every time it lets me come in here because it's a game site too. Ruth
What the heck is Websense and why are you letting it keep you out of places like Tsr? (just out of curiousity)
It's like a filter that some companies use so their employees don't go to certain kinds of websites, like XXX or gaming sites.
It's just like MegRen said. The only time I can use the computer is when I have a break from students. I don't have the internet at home anymore because I just didn't use it. Ruthie
