Ads on New Style - 15 Days Later. Feedback please

So it is about 15 days after the new style went out and with the new positioning of ads on the forums. I'd like to get some feedback to determine the amount of annoyance the ads have been and whether the ads should be kept there, or relocated elsewhere.

The have two square block ads and one banner style ones, primarily from Google.

Note: Those who have SimsPass from WorldSims, they will be suppressed you won't see it.

We have a square ad located at the top of forum pages. It is linked to the notices about whether you are registered or not.

On threads, we have a total of three ads appearing there. Two of them are boxes. One would appear in the first post of each page of the thread. The other box would appear right above the quick reply. The banner appears right above the last post.

Our current plan thus far is to have Google Ads appear to members 99% of the time. The last 1% of the time is dependent on Google, and it depends if there is anything relevant in terms of content for a Google Ad Word to Appear. If there is, it will show a Google Adword. If not, it will show a backup ad that could be from the normal rotation or maybe a custom one of sorts.

So some of the questions I have for everyone:

    How are the ads?
Are they annoying in terms of content?
Are they annoying in terms of where they are at?
    Would you prefer them elsewhere?
    Are they intrusive in nature?
Do they turn you off from particpating?
If Google had no adwords for WorldSims, do you prefer having no ads appear? Or do you prefer having a typical ad? Or some other sort of ad?
    Do you like the ads?
Do you prefer the Google Styled Ads? Or do you prefer the flashy/animated style ones?

Those are some general questions. Please feel free to include comments beyond the scope of the questions.

I just took a free peek, Josh. I found no ads except bracketed around the post I clicked through to, (from a go to latest post link). Specifically I got a banner ad above the said post (for a 3D chat ... I did not investigate that) plus a couple of Google ads below. Those were text ads and amusingly irrelevant ... but then I am easily amused  ... I am also easily bored, so I hastily went to World Sims skin after checking out Urban style  )

Conclusion. I approve of the ads.

How are the ads? I don't have any major problems with them, just took a while to get used to them again.

Are they annoying in terms of content? Nopes, seems to be mainly google ads like you said.

Are they annoying in terms of where they are at? Yes! I can't stand the banner ad that appears right above the last post. There have been a couple of threads where I forgot to scroll down the rest of the way to read that last post assuming that when I saw an ad that it signified the end of the posts on that particular thread.

Would you prefer them elsewhere? Just that one I just mentioned.

Are they intrusive in nature? Not really

Do they turn you off from particpating? Nothing can drag me away from WS! ;)

If Google had no adwords for WorldSims, do you prefer having no ads appear? Or do you prefer having a typical ad? Or some other sort of ad? errr...the ads that are there are fine.

Do you like the ads? Seriously, no. But I don't like ads no matter what the site it. I can live with them however.

Do you prefer the Google Styled Ads? Or do you prefer the flashy/animated style ones? Google for sure! I can't stand those flashy animated style ones on other sites.

Hmm. I'll talk to my Google rep then. He's the one that suggested this layout design on where to position the three google ad areas.
