    Alternatives to the aging cheat?

Alright I've got this family that I created on the Sims that I really like but the problem is that the grown ups are going to turn into elders in a few days, I'm taking a random guess at 6 or 7 and they have a teenager and a newborn baby (not sure when it becomes a toddler) but I was wondering if there is any way that I could prevent the sims from turning into elders, but keep the newborn growing and the teenager growing? I really don't want my sims to age any longer than "adult" but I don't think there's any way to prevent this!? The aging cheat stunts their growing all together. Is there any help for this?

Well, one way, without any downloading of game hacks is the green joice, which comes in an hourglass shaped cooler and is an aspiration reward object. I think it requires about 30,000 points, but I'm not exactly sure.

You have to be certain that your sims are in at least the gold level before drinking any. It gives you extra days, 3 days at a time. You can drink more than once but there may only be about 4 or 5 drinks in total per cooler.

Both adult sims will have access to the juice even though only one of them as enough points to put it in the house.

Thaaaank you very much. Oh lord, I hope I'll be able to max out their aspiration level before their time is up. :)

There is something called Merola's Multipainting. It's a download created by Merola and can be found at this site: http://www.simchaotics.com/ Merola has several things on the site. The painting is one of them. You have to search a little bit down the list.

Everyone uses it for lots of things and one of the options (left side of the painting) lets you add days to a sims life.

The object looks exactly like one of the paintings in the game but with an asterisk on it (in the buy catalog,) once you have installed it.

This is the next option, if you are willing to download and install things into the game.

I second that good opinion of Merola's Painting. I use very few hacked objects because I'm always afraid of blowing up my game...Plus, it is just more fun if you have to work for things in the game, rather than letting a bunch of hacks make game play easier.

But I do use Merola's painting, and have had NO problems. The Aging Option (to either "age" or "youthen") a sim is much easier to use than the green stuff, and is one of the small indulgences I allow for some of my favorite sims that I want to keep around a little while longer...
