Amestris (Sim story by me) Amestris, land of alchemists... and name of my new custom neighborhood... also where I intend to nurture all my sim stories.... The Rockbells: Pinako and Lucas Rockbell started with two sons, Christopher and Felix. But they both agreed they wanted a large family. Pinako became pregnant almost immediately, and had a very difficult pregnancy. Despite this, she pursued a career in the Slacker career, and her husband simply nodded when she announced it, then bit back a yell when she informed him hed have to be a house husband they just couldnt afford a nanny. As for Lucas, he quickly adjusted to the role of house husband, and agreed when Pinako told him why. After all, she would often be on maternity and baby leave so shed be around to help. But secretly he longed for the day Chris would be a teen, and he could leave this wretched house and get a night job away from this ever dirty house. Eventually the day came, and Pinako gave birth. Precious Baby Katie was born, and while Pinako and the boys rejoiced in their beautiful new treasure, Lucas smiled and bit back his horror. 29 (did I count right here?) more years of parenthood! When Pinako announced her intention to have 10 kids, he sighed and agreed then wondered where to get those giant scissors. Meanwhile, Felix had discovered his charismatic brother had friends at school and he didnt. Suddenly the brother who adored and doted on him when he was a toddler had no time and Mama was busy with Baby Katie, while daddy cleaned the oven, then slept with his head in it. But in a cruel twist of fate, Pinako died of a sudden disease and while her sons mourned horribly, Lucas inwardly danced with glee. No more babies! He resolved to himself to hire a nanny, get a job, and find some young hussy to move in as soon as possible.
Amorei Trisha, Sara and Zolf (baby... four days younger than his sisters) are close, thanks to their parents, Diane and Dimitri. Diane, a devoted family sim, dreams of a big family, and is almost always pregnant. She has no problems with being a housewife, but wishes her husband made more money... she has chidlren sleeping on lawn furniture. Zolf, who became a child minutes before the schoolbus left, so he started childhood in red initionation. Nevertheless, worried by the insistance that the social worker was comming for his sister, he did all of their unfinished homework lying around. Diane, finding the fridge empty, begged her sister for a loan, and it was granted, although not soon enough. The social worker showed up and took away all her children, as she grieved uncontrolably. Kimblee Daemyn and Mystie Kimblee are busy sims, but Damyn wanted a family... the solution? Adoption! After adopting Trisha, they were so charmed, they set their sights on her brother and sister, and soon had the whole set, one after another. But, surprises abound, that day Mystie's belly poofed, and she started puking. Mystie was pregnant with a little bundle!
Sounds like there is something in the water in your neighborhood...all your sims are popping out babies like a Pez dispensor!
That's funny. Actually, at my work we joke about that. One of my coworkers has triplets, not induced by any sort of drug, and another one's wife just had twins. I, thankfully, had only one ... Too bad for poor Diane. I had a lesbian family sim couple have their kids taken away, and the only resort left was cheating on each other, which one of them finally managed to do. Oh, and I had their son who was already an adult move back in and adopt back all of his siblings. You might try that, if you have a kid who's old enough. Of course, the moms were now the grandmas, but they at least had their family back. You could create a couple to adopt those kids if you still want to play them ... or they could just adopt the oldest, who could then grow up and reunite the family.
