    Antique camera

OK, I'm feeling stupid. Sybil Sparrow has one of the antique cameras and I can pose people, take pictures and then sell them. But I can't figure out how to KEEP them, as in, hang them on the wall? Isn't that supposed to be an option? The book says to go into buy mode. But all I get with that is the opportunity to get rid of the camera itself. What am I doing wrong?

check to see if there is like a bit of the film or picture hanging out of the camera after it is shot and try to grab it in buy mode. i know that with the easel, you have to grab on the picture itself to hang it. if you grab the easel, it will move the easel and not the picture.

You were right. I just had to get in a lot closer to the camera to be able to see it and grab the edge of the picture. It comes out with a frame! Very nice. Thanks.:)

I have a question in the same general area... Just has to do with the camera itself.

Has anyone had any success with choosing different ways of taking the picture? (Vignette, etc)? No matter what I choose as an option, all the pictures come out looking normal.

    Was this an unfixed bug?

I thought those different styles were for movie-making.

There are cheats for those styles that you can use for movie making, but they are also options for when you're using the camera. I can never seem to get them to look any different, though.

I haven't experimented with styles other than normal yet but I was just wondering if they require a sim with a lot of creativity points. The paintings always get significantly better as the sim accumulates creativity points.

I'm pretty sure I've tried it with Sims that have maxed creativity points. Almost ALL my Sims end up with max creativity eventually as I like to have them paint a lot for the extra money (and because I use a lot of them as portraits). Nothing seems to make a difference in how the pictures turn out.
