Are you a Sims Addict? Then break out your wallet for The Sims 2 Store

[IMG]Admit it, you are addicted to the Sims. Don’t feel ashame, many others are facing the same issue. You drool over news for upcoming games, expansions and stuff packs. Once released, you don’t even hesitate to run out to the store running over old people in scooters or knocking down little children. I know how you feel - I’ve been there myself.

But I have learned to control my addiction - it no longer overpowers me. Perhaps what I’m about to tell you will wake you up and overcome your problem.

If you have to purchase everything that is sims related - even from The Sims 2 store, then listen up. They have just added a huge exclusive set to their store - The Castle Theme. Consisting of 71 objects, hairstyles and clothes, you will be able to transform your lots into a medieval castle. Pretty cool, huh? I think so. But before you break out your wallets to grab the whole set, let me tell you how much everything will cost you - $65.00.

That’s right! For the low price of $65 bucks, you can pickup 6500 SimPoints (I calculated all of the objects and it comes to 6100 SimPoints) and download every single object for the theme! What a deal…if you crap money. But I don’t, and I don’t recall any other living being being able so. Why anybody would pay that much when you can pick up 3 expansions with over 500 new items or stuff packs for the same price?

I hate the whole concept of The Sims Store…I know the old arguement of “If you don’t like it, don’t purchase it”, but either take the items down to reasonable prices or cram them in the next stuff pack…

Some pictures of the exclusive items:

geez, EA are a bunch of money grabbing so and so's.
trying to tease us sim fans into spending all the money during a credit crunch :p
nah but seriously, you made a good point, why spend all that money one one collection of objects when you can pop over to your local game store and buy 3 expansion packs for the same price.

Im sure i'll live without castle stuff lol.
