Back from New York--a few ship photos, if you're interested Sorry, you're not gonna find a photo of me in here... I do have a few interesting photos, though... mostly of the QM2 and Intrepid. QM2 docks merely a couple of blocks from the Intrepid in New York, at Pier 92. Unfortunately, she will be docking in Brooklyn as of next year. Yeah, this trip was based around the ships May have more later, God willing. Sorry, didn't realize the size of these. I actually made them smaller... and this is what I got. Sorry :(

I believe the Intrepid is there permanently as a museum. And yes, Intrepid is a carrier or battleship or something. And yes, they are huge!
Yes the Intrepid was a aircraft carrier, but became an aviation and naval museum. It has been in NYC since I was little. I dont really know when they did it.. but over 16 years ago. I used to pass it almost every year when going to see my relatives..
