    bad grades

what happens when a child/teenagers gets a D or an F? I am trying to follow a specific storyline in one neighborhood, where the kids never go outside, but if they miss too much school, will childrens' services come and take them? like in sims one, will they be sent to military school?

Worse: Instead of being sent to military school, as before (where they would presumably be returned to you again someday, since they're being sent to military school), the SS takes them from you, never to be seen again, and puts them up for adoption. Oh, and when adopted, It is rumored that, in all likelyhood, their grades will STILL be failing, causing the new adoptive family to lose not only these newly adopted children, but their perfectly fine children as well!

The SS will not take teens, however, so teens can fail as badly as they want.

I had a child and a teenager who got F's. Social Services took the child but left the teen. In another family, the woman wanted to adopt a child, and it turned out to be the child taken from the 1st home. That little girl now has straight A's and has become a piano genius. :) So, some Sims have happy endings, after all. LOL
