I'm a spoiled brat. My mommy buys them and passes them along to me when she's done reading them ... :D

(She's a fast reader so it doesn't take long ...)

My daughter just saw the first one so now it's three generations in our family who love those stories.

I preordered one of the previous books and sat on my front porch all day waiting for the U.P.S. guy. We noticed all the bookstores had a gazillion copies left so for the last book my hubby and I went to a Barnes and Noble midnight Harry Potter Party. At midnight they can crack open the boxes and officially sell them. Grandmothers showed up with their lightning bolts painted on their foreheads and kids were in costume. All the adults stood around and discussed the books enthusiastically. We had a great time. It was like Halloween in July. We are going that route again this weekend. Can we have a book discussion thread next week?

Of course we could, just as long as we put "Spoiler" befroe it. to warn people that it may ruin the reading experence.

So the book is being released tomorrow?

I guess that would explain why my-place-of-work recieved copies several days ago..

(Some of the precautions we're having with this book, until the release, are weird though.)

Dang, there's a heck of a lot of muggle involvement in the first two chapters...

It's okay, my Nan and Grandad are getting it me on Monday. I know everybody says it will be sold out, but I don't care. I'll read it soon anyway!
