Beg bug Hello all, My first posting on this forum, woohoo Now the reason why I'm putting this message here: I've been struggling with a bed! I wanted to replace my existing 2-person bed with a better one, but for some reason I was unable to select the bed and sell it. The game said that 'the object is in use', but I'm quite sure that no one was in that bed at that time. Another problem with that bed was that only 1 person could be in the bed at the same time, so it was really like the bed was only 50% usable (no Repair option available ) In the end I had to use the moveObjects command to get rid of it... So, has anyone experienced this same bug? (well, I guess it is a bug, right? Or am I missing something here?)
You say that you couldn't delete it because it was described as in use. And you say that only one person could use it ... Is it possible that you had a second sim in the house who had decided to sleep in the bed and that this order hadn't been cancelled? Was the bed only used on one side only? This suggests that you had some object of other blocking access to one side ... Just a few ideas! Weclome to World Sims by the way!
There was indeed a second sim in the house, but that one did not have an order to use the bed (I tried several times). Um, can't really remember for 100% but I think it was indeed always used on the same side. However, even if it was blocked from the other side, I should still be able to sell it if it's not in use, right? Thanks :classic:
Just noticed that I put a typo in the title, should be "Bed bug" instead of "Beg bug" of course... Apparently it's not possible to modify your own messages on this forum? [Following part added with "Edit"] Okay, now I noticed that I CAN modify my last reply, but I CAN'T modify my previous messages, so is it only possible to modify your own messages as long as there are no replies to them? Sorry for all these forum questions, I'm just trying to get the most out of it PS: I've checked the FAQ and apparently the 'Edit' rights can be customized per user, decided by the Moderators. But there must be some default setting, correct?
