Is the big golden skull reward just a gyp? Does it do anything? All I get is view. That doesn't seem fair after disarming warheads and negotiating hostages and all.

 

It's supposed to be the equivalent of one of those snapdragon plants, emitting a pleasant atmosphere that doesn't decay your Sim's motives. I put mine in my vampire lair's study area.

 

Thanks, Chee-Z. I wondered about it, too. I have the thing sitting in the Roth's house and the eyes glow. I never noticed what was happening to the motives.

 

So I've tested this and their fun bar slowly goes up when they view the head. But the environment score slowly drops!

 

I think that's how I would feel about finding a big golden head in my room ...

 

I have it outside. If you view it a few times it brings happiness up.

 

I have one sitting beside a couch. On the other side of the couch is a bookshelf. The house has several TV's, a computer, a hot tub, and other recreational outlets, but the entire household chooses to read beside that idol! It raises their stats just like the snapdragon does.

 

I had a sim abusing it once.lol
