Assuming you have a paint program, click create parts, select new project, select the appropiate item, select a part, and then click the folder out. Using a paint program, you can modify the property of an item accordingly.
I need help also. Why does it say that some files are corrupt and ihave to download it all over again? Do I need to download the starter pack 1st? Please help

for some reason everytime I download it won't download for more than 48% and it will say "some files are corrupt". what's wrong? Is it the winzip or does it have to do with Adobe Photoshop? Can someone please help? I really want to start making some sims. By the way my comp runs on a 56K modem.

i had this problem too. but i don't want to redownload it, i have 56k and it took almost 9 hours. and the sites previously suggested arn't free. i can't buy anything. HELP!
You might try doing a search for free or trial versions of download manager programs, search at places like download.com. Good luck!
YAYA i need help too. with the paint program do you create a design or modify the outift??? i am so confused
Ok i get that but it says i need to put in a file name... is that what i saved my file on the paint program?? and will thjey ever come out witha program to totally create new items???:confusion:
I got confuused too but here's what happens. As son as you go to the main screen and click Create stuff or whatever it says, Click create new. Then it will ask you to name it. This will be the file name that you will open in the paint program. Then it will tell you that your object will be saved to a certin file. GO to your paint program and open it up under the file name that was given to you. color your thing however you'd like and when your done click save (on the paint program). Open up Body shop and in where it says "enter tip tool here" write the file name. CLick ok and it will import the file into body shop, now ready for your use!
Internet I just found sumthing cool. after you get on to paint program, you can download an image frm the internet and put it on their clothes hair, etc. It rocks!!!!
