boolProp is the game's set of command lines to change the way the game works. They're used (entered) in the same way as cheats.

Some but not many are useful, some can be harmful to your game.

eg boolProp allow45degreeangleofrotation true is pretty nifty ... tho some objects become unusable and other behave oddly (eg a sim will watch a 45deg TV but he won't sit a 45 facing seat to do so; instead he will just stand :( )

boolProp testingcheatsenabled true is an example of the potentially harmful variety. It can and does enable the unjamming of many a sim snarl-up but I have also accidentally set the odd sim back half a lifetime ...

There a zillions of boolprop codes out there. Use Google (or whatever) to search for Sims 2 cheats ... or just boolprop ... Google just gave me 8,000+ references!

Wow, I never heard of that 45 degree rotation cheat! As soon as Matt gets off the computer, I'm testing it out! I can't believe I've been missing out on diagonal furniture for so long now...so...long...

The band instruments (well the stringed ones) both work and look better on the diagonal)

Warning: Some objects become completely FUBAR'ed when placed diagonally.

Also, the debug code is somewhat dangerous. Side effects may include dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, water retention, painful rectal itch, hallucinations, dementia, psychosis, coma, death, and halitosis. Debug cheats are not for everyone. Consult your doctor before use.
