Build mode Hi Can anyone help me when I go into build mode say for maybe a deck or gate nothing happens I don't get a build tool or anything.......
How do you mean nothing happens? Does the Build Mode panel not come up or something? If it does you need to click on the tools to activate them, if that's what you mean.
Yes it go's into build mode ok, you can select antything and the item pops up but I can't used it, seems to be no build tool there to work with
Sometimes there's a conflict caused by having some sort of No-CD-hack installed on your computer, even if you own the Sims2 CDs and are using them properly. The game, (and I repeat this to avoid accusing you of piracy,) even if legally bought and installed by you, notices the no-CD-hack and disables the build function. You have to get rid of the hack for the game to work properly. Another possibility is you don't have enough simoleons. Silly, I know. But some new players don't realize they've run out of money. Also, once or twice I forgot to turn off a cheat and the build function didn't work properly. These are all suggestions. You might just try a search of this forum for "Build doesn't work" or similar question. It's a frequent question, mentioned in several threads.
