the beejaphone guitar is one of the unlockables while you live at the art gallery, and despite the fact that artie and charity keep mentioning light, to throw a successful party you have to do the normal (feed and invite extra people), and then play a musical instrument and have some sims "watch." i've done it in the room where the art is, dunno if it works elsewhere. hope that helps. :)

I did it by having a stereo in the gallery and having the guests dance together also. In addition to the other party stuff already mentioned;) Good Luck

i simply buy one of those huge stoves and put it at the very back wall of the place where all the art is. i make hors d'vours with it while another sim uses the phone to throw a party. not only will you work on your cooking skill this way, you always complete the goal once the guests goes into the gallery to get the snacks. :D wow, this has been a dead post a couple of years now, oh well. as long as i can help other people who might need help with this part of the game lol!

The easiest way is to remove at least part of the wall separting the two rooms in the fron and then remove at least part of the wall separating the front section from the Kitchen. Then just fix some food and get oon the phone and invite people over for the Art Opening Party.

    Works every time for me.
