    Calling Grimmy...

After one of my Sim's fiancees, and someone else's wife, was eaten by the Cow Plant, I called Grimmy to bring them back, and got the next door neighbour's wife back, but the only other Sim I could bring back was one my Sim hadn't even met before, and I wanted to get my other Sim's fiancee back, but even though his tomb stone was on the lot of the Sim calling the reaper, and had also been a good friend of the caller, he didn't appear in the menu of Sims he could bring back. I brought the Sim back the caller didn't know, and now when I try to call the Reaper he tells me to stop bothering him, I don't know anyone who died. What do I do to get the fiancee back?:confusion:

Oh LOL. I hate it when that happens! Why not just make a new fianc ... I'm sure that your sim will get used to him/her in time ... ;)

Somehow I knew my two Sims were never meant to be... I knew it was a bad idea to invite him round after I'd just got my Cow plant, knew it lol

I just started playing around with the cow plant. I put him on a residental lot when my sim Tina Spock had earned him. I built a fence and high hedges around him and let him snack on the hired help. LOL I was hoping this would also help Tina meet her "See a ghost" want, but so far no go. When I want to have people over I would just have Tina go out and feed the cow plant so he wouldn't eat any of the guests. I learned that little trick the hard way after he ate a sim I had big plans for name Luke Hicks. LOL LOL He came from a large family, lots of siblings, and and they keep having breakdowns on community lots since poor Luke became "Elixir of Life" to allow Tina to keep her youth and beauty. LMAO!!

As for Grimmy, I don't know why he didn't let you resurect your sim's fiance. I've been given the option of resurecting townies that I don't remember the caller having any interactions with. I mean, if they were friends, well then?!

Speaking of being mean to the help ...

I have a wealthy family with a huge hedge maze in their front yard. I don't recommend it ... it's usually filled with weeds. When the gardener does come it takes him two days to get rid of them ... the guy never eats or sleeps, just trims those hedges for two days straight.

It's actually pretty funny, but expensive. Good thing they're rich, cuz I don't use cheats ...

Good grief SBW! I'd like to know how you manage to keep a gardener on the lot for two days!

I was wondering the same thing. Isn't it about 7:00 or so that the hired help says, "I have to go now", then stands around for a few minutes waiting for a tip, and then leaves?

Nope. Apparently I hired a masochist. He just keeps going and going and going ... heh heh heh ... poor sap.
