can't start sims city 4 hi.. im new here.. and i've read threads about this and im sorry if im repeating what others have posted.. but im really having a problem.. i can't start my simcity 4.. i've installed it with no problem, but when i try to play it wont start.. i click the icon and then nothing.. i can play simcity societies but this one just wont work.. i traded it for another cd of sim city 4 and the same happened.. i tried it on my friends pc and it works fine.. am i just unlucky or what?? im using xp by the way.. here is my system by the way.. processor:intel pentium 4 cpu 3.06ghz memory:512mb ram directx: directx 9.0c graphics: NVIDIA FX 5500 256MB 1024x768(32bit)(60hz) if you still need some info from my pc just tell me.. pls help me.. i really want to play sim city 4..
Also having the same problems I am running Vista though. I had been able to load SC and then sometimes it won't load at all, it just hangs after the initial splash screen. I had installed some mods so I removed them in case that was the problem but that didn't help.
