careers i was wondering if there was an existing cheat that anyone knew of that enables you to get jobs in the careers like entertainment or natural science, without ever having completed or even attempted to complete a uni degree.
There are cheats for that topic in abundance: Starting with buyable Diplomas up to "the mother of cheats" like I call the Insiminator, which spawns a laptop that would not only let you chose any (including custom) careers but also lets you set your desired Job level. But I think these kind of cheats, as helpful as they might be at times, somehow take the fun out of the game. What is the big idea if you face no more challenges... I ruined my fun in Diablo II once when I downloaded a character editor and could create any weapon/armor I wanted..it's like a god mode cheat..I was invincible. OK..back to topic...think about it, if you really want that and I'll tell you where you can find these cheats -le
like Merola's Mulitpainting? Search web for the bold print words - top answers in Google lead straight to it.
yes, yes, yes! please, please!! you see, i'm kind of sucky at the whole 'cheat' thing and i really don't know any others except for the usual old stuff. if you could send me that one for diplomas i'd be eternally grateful...as well as any others kind of like it...?

Links are welcome so long as credit is given. Normal netiquette rules apply, such as not hot-linking sites that obviously deprecate such. I would say that MATY and, to a marginally lesser extent, MTS2 are both sites that do not mind hot-linking to downloads ... although I generally try to link to the site as well directly to the download (especially if I am just giving a link to the package). eg: Christian Love Counterfeit College Diploma from ModTheSims2.com
Perhaps I should repost to make clear I made a typo in my previous post (now corrected). Of course I should have said: I would say that MATY and, to a marginally lesser extent, MTS2 are both sites that do not mind hot-linking to downloads ... although I generally try to link to the site as well directly to the download (especially if I am just giving a link to the package).
Just wanted to mention that I had a little problem with the counterfeit college diploma mod. So I suggest reading the comments and information to see if it has been updated. Actually, I think it's a good idea to do that with any downloads other than clothes. The problem occurred after I installed Pets. With two households, I used the conterfeit diploma to give a diploma to adult sims that I had created in CAS. Both times, the sims in those households stopped aging. I used Merola's Multipainting to get the aging to work again, by subtracting days from their lives, but it took a couple of tries, even with the multipainting, to get the households to age normally. Of course, I don't know what caused the glitch. Maybe it was a conflict between the diploma and something else in the households.
I just see it as a given..if I use hacks then I except the chance for crazy things to happen. Thats why I keep these things in a separat folder, incl. a recent backup of my hood... so in the worst case I'm back to the former state in no time It's all a matter of preferences I guess. -le Sounds awfully familiar...Jimy Hendrix???
Yes, it is. However, I should confess that it is my daughter who has a wide appreciation for all kinds of music, classic to modern, and not myself. She had this phrase printed on a frame around her license plate. I love music but my tastes are narrow. This phrase from Jimmy Hendrix that I quote in my signature here happens to appeal to me on several levels.
