    Celluar questions

No, this isn't about cell phones.

Anyways, in the video we saw how you go from single animal to tribe, and from city to space. We also got to see how far you can zoom out to, but the question is.... Can you zoom back IN. After u get a ufo, is it possible to zoom in, abduct a single celled organism, give it like 4 spikes, then place it in an alien ocean? or is it once your done with the cell stage, your done with it forever. Another thing I'm wondering is how they take the transformation from 2d to 3d. The only was I can think of is the camera suddenly going to a side view.

Once you pull out into space and see the solar system and so on, you can scroll back in. I think, from what I have read, the main point of the UFO is to start new worlds and to put creatures on planets to make you more money. I am not sure if the gamplay will be the same once you have the UFO and zoom back in to control your creatures. The cell stage would be difficult to do, I think that if Will Wright based Spore on the theory of the begining of the Earth, how the cells form and we all evolved into what we are today, then I don't think it would be possible to get these cell stage creatures to put them on another planet. Since all these cell stage creatures would have evolved into multi-celled creatures. And all the rest overs would be microscopic, so I don't know how the creature could even see them in the first stage. I am sure more information will come out over the next few weeks that will answer some of our questions.:D

do you have to stay In the ufo? you know like when you've made It Is that It you can't like go back and controll tanks and stuff? I wonder If you can have multiple species...like some you're still bacterial some you're a fish others you're on land etc etc...oh and on one you're on ufo stage obviously...

I think it would be possible to land the UFO at your city and just control your city as if you never got the UFO. And then when you wanted to use the UFO again just hop on in it and fly away.

Who said it had to be yours? we still have bacteria in this world, im preety sure we will have them when we get UFOs, why couldint we abduct one of those, put evolutions on them, and put them on another planet?

I was thinking maybe that you could click on the little icon that shows your stage (Fish, bear, hut, city, UFO) and travel foreword or backward...

Thats what i was wondering. And once you get to the ufo stage, can you still control a creature one at a time as in the diablo like stage?

I'm pretty sure Will said that you couldn't control a single creature after you reach the Civilization Stage.

Abducting a single celled organism and putting it another planet to grow, while it would be really cool, I don't think it'll be in the game. Mostly because the UFO probably couldn't single out something so small.

That's a great question! I think that since you can have multiple species on a planet, why not have a far more advanced life and a simpler life-form slowly growing that could be our enemies one day when they move off the planet, great thing to think about.

I'm pretty sure WW said that only one species can evolve to the tribal and civ stages (your creature) per planet (other creatures).

well in many of the screens we have seen, videos too, a species goes to another species on the same planet and bombs them with weapons.

Right, that's why I put 'per planet' in there. The same species can evolve to civ from tribal, but since it's different tribes it'd be different civilizations.

oh, sorry IB. Do you think that you can have two sperate tribes of the same species and then two cities of the same species, then they join for the civilization phase?

Or have two different tribes, then they 'interbreed' and you have 50/50 species combined for one civilization

Well I think you're thinking right, in the cellular phase you have a 2d enviornment with a '3d' twist to it, so as you progress to the creature phase the camera will most likely change.

Or it starts out 3d in the cellular phase, I doubt that one, but it's a possibility.

Hmmm... I bet the interbreeding thing won't be in the game... That would put a seriously interesting twist on this already seriously interesting game, but it would probably take away from your own creature, making it the games or someone elses.

And hey, if you want to combine cities and you can't do it peacefully, bring out the tanks!

I always thought the cell phase was 3D, but the camera was fixed on the Z axis making it move like 2D.
