    Changing meshes

What I'd really like to learn how to do is change the clothing meshes. For example, I'd like to make a shirt for a male sim that's open with a tank undershirt underneath, but when I try to modify an existing shirt I am left with a residual collar that I can't seem to get rid of. Erasing it in the alpha file doesn't help.

Anyone know where I can find an advanced tutorial? So far everything I've found applies to changing the color of the clothing, not the shape of it.

Can I do this in BodyShop or am I going to need a third-party program?

IMHO there are not nearly enough fun clothes for male sims and I'd like to experiment with making some. But first I need to figure out how.

    Thanks.

    Never mind ...

Answered my own question. For those of you with the same question, check out Parsimonious.com. They have a lot of good information.

There is a mesh tool from ModTheSims2 which is specifically for changing meshes (clothes and objects.) A 3D graphics program is needed as well. They have a forum section for helping to learn how to use it. (I personally prefer a step by step "manual" approach rather than the "hunt through a forum" approach, but that's what they have.)
