Come back, JMP Please go look at Chapter 4, The Mayor, just uploaded to www.pharaohfarrow.com. Look at Chapters 1, 2 and 3 first, though. Chapter 3 is my favorite. I have no control over the crowd that shows up in this chapter. In fact, even my hero, Private Detective Duke Sidewalker, is a guest I can't control. But Duke takes more notes in this chapter so I hope the plot is easier to follow. This was a very difficult chapter to put together -- choppy -- and I'm still not happy with the result, but I'll be busy for awhile with my daughter's visit from California so I uploaded the chapter anyway. This chapter is 33 Megs. Chapters 1, 2 and 3 are 23, 25, and 20 Megs respectively. I have Windows XP v 5.1 and it plays these chapters OK in the Windows Media Player. I have an ancient grubby moth-eaten patched-up computer at work with Windows 98 and it can play these with its Windows Media Player (without sound, however, because there's no sound card.) Anyway, guys, let me know if you can figure it out. I'll be back in about a week. Thanks
