Delete all Characters Ok so this isn't really a problem, more like something I'm wondering about. Apart from playing all 4 Maxis neighbourhoods, I like to have a custom one of my own. What I don't like is seeing the same faces over and over again so when I make a custom neighbourhood I use the deleteAllcharacters cheatcode. I then make a few single sims/families of my own, move them into the neighbourhood, and sure enough the NPC's are all new faces but, it seems like the majority are teenagers! I did not use this cheat on the vacation neighbourhoods I added to my custom neighbourhood, but when I arrived at Twikki Island, I didn't see any locals. Turns out they were there, but I only realised they were locals because they were making the gesture "hang loose" to other tourists at the hotel my sim was staying at, and teaching others the hula. They were dressed in normal sim clothes, only the fire dancers were wearing the clothes of the locals! Has anyone else experienced the teenagers in "normal" neighbourhood or the normally dressed locals in vacation neighbourhoods? If so, what did you do or is there a simple solution? Like I said its not really a problem but it does make one wonder.
delete all characters is an unreliable method of cleaning a neighbourhood. There are templates, which have been specifically emptied of all pre-made characters and all the the NPCs too. You may then populate the 'hood with townies you have made yourself. You choose their names, what they wear, what their personalities are.
