df394.tmp error sims 2 university message

    Hi everybody!

Today I installed University.. everything seemed fine. First I tested bodyshop and it worked great. Then when I started University, first I saw The Sims University logo (with very bad graphic) Then after waiting a few minutes I got an error message containing this message: df394.tmp

I thought maybe I had some bad files in my download folder, so I took them all out and moved them to a backup folder. Then I tried all over again. Still no difference.

Does anybody know whats going on and how to fix this problem? I have a quite new computer so the system requirements is no problem.

    Im desperate!

    Thanks!!

If you made a back up of your saved games your best course of action is to uninstall everything and reinstall starting with the core game first. Be extra careful to preserve your backed up saved games.

If you didn't back up your saved games (before installing TSU) then you may be in trouble. You can still try a reinstall (making sure to save your Sims 2 folder somewhere safe and putting it back only after you have fully reinstalled both the core game and University.
