Did you all forget my birthday? No birthday thread for me...how sad...It was last thursday...I think I'll go cry now... Just kidding. I had a good birthday though. My mom made me my Thanksgiving dinner since I didn't get that in November. And then on Friday Brandon took me out to a fancy Italian place downtown St. Paul...Luci something, the second word started with an A. It was nice...oh, and he put a downpayment on a ring!!!! That's right! We picked out an engagment ring. We're not offically engaged, because he hasn't actually proposed yet, but within the next six months he's going to propose, my surprise is that I just have no clue as to when or where. The ring is beautiful, white gold, marquis cut...gorgeous. So anyway...even though no one here remembered to give me my own birthday thread for my 25th birthday...(just giving you all a hard time, promise!) It was nice.
Sorry Shana, I wasn't really paying attention to the birthday bit :(. You made me feel bad now, so here's a belated cake to blow out the candle on :birthday:. Now, make a wish!!

Yeah, Josh, what's up with that? Sorry, Shana. Glad you had a good birthday! You went to Luci Ancora, one of my favorite restaurants, you lucky duck. Their food is to die for. Oooh! Just read your post again. Engaged is good, a ring is better! I don't even have a wedding ring, poor little me. My husband buys me practical things like dishwashers instead. One of these years I'm going to insist on a diamond. Antique, of course. My politics won't let me buy a new one ... that's not to say I judge people who do.

Oh Shana! I am distraught. Truly and to think I wasted last Thursday afternoon in a pub with a colleague because a meeting we were scheduled to be in had been cancelled at the last minute. So as nobody seemed to know we were free we thought it best to have some beer to celebrate ... things got a little hazy after that ... however had I known it was your birthday I would have been sure to have one more glasshhhh in your hic-onour :candle::birthday::spin::drunk:
