Discover Magazine The most recent discover magazine had an interview with Will Wright. I'm not sure what this site's rules on copyrights are, so for the moment I'll refrain from posting a scaned copy of it. The article talked about the same thing all the other interviews do, but it did say that you would be able to purchase a 3d model of your character for a nominal fee.
really, that's very interesting! So it said that you could make a creature and buy a model of it? that would be cool, hope they stick with that, how much do you think it would cost?
If it's MAXIS choice, should be quite cheap... but if EA gets to decide the price... urgh... It's a great idea though, I can't wait to import my creatures into 3DS max and make movies with them!
AH! You have 3DS max!? Did you pay the 700 bucks for it? On topic: That would be really cool! I hope they do stick with it! And since you're the one who makes the creature and the good people at Maxis slash the okay people at EA only have to copy the frame, I wouldn't put it past $5. Well, $10 max.
