Do these stats work? I have a 2GHZ Intel processor Win XP NVIDIA GeForce4 MX graphics card with 64MB video memory 80GB of RAM Will this run Sims 2 smoothly without it looking like a slide show? Please help if you can.
that 80GB is your hard drive, not your RAM. as MJ said, as long as you have atleast 256MB RAM, your good to go.
I have a question that one of my cousins wanted to know! She has a computer but don't know if the sims 2 is going to run but this is her question...If you can run the bodyshop on your computer does that mean you can run the sims 2 on your computer?
Depends on the computers specs, TS2 will be running a lot of hidden background tasks, the graphics will be much more intense, ect. So yes and no, it really depends on the system.
Well my cousin has window XP. An have a Directx 9.0b so what do you mean by the system so that way I can walk her through it!
Start, run, type dxdiag On the page it opens up I need this information: Processor: Memory: Next click display up the top. In the Device box I need this information: Name: Approx. Total Memory:
Processor: Intel(R)Celeron(R)CPU2.60GHz Memory:238 Name:Intel(R)82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller Approx. Total Memory: 64.0 I do need to reboot it over to get maximum memory because I am using some of the memory up!
I would buy more RAM/Memory to up it to 512MBs or more...The game will run but with a lot of lag with most graphic settings on low. Off Topic: A computer store's opening down at my local shops! Just wanted to share.
I'll try to get more memory I am on a laptop but I have a desktop computer I'll send you the system information. When I get it.
