does aging off work in uni? hi; i always have the aging off when i play in my neighbourhoods cuz i like to take my time. i was wondering if this same cheat works when playing in the university campuses - anyone tried it?
Aging off does not, by default, have any effect in University, since there is no aging while in Uni. If you want to freeze, reverse, or advance the University Timer (as well as reroll lifetime wants), get this object. Otherwise "aging off" does not stop the Uni clock unless this object is placed on the lot.
I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work. I can barely manage to think of a reason why I would want to try it, though (Only one excuse springs to mind ... accidentally making both your sim's professors insanely jealous in the final semester ... I had this happen once and my sim's grades went into the red ... he was up all night doing assignments and phoning the profs to make up with them to make up the lost ground. Phew! Never again. Moral: never invite a prof to a student party ... especially if they have a crush on your sims ... but even if they don't cos they seem to get a crush very easily, the naughty little NPC's (hmm ... p'raps 'npc' could also stand for non politically-correct )
I found that little object you link to a couple of nights ago when I was going through some of my items, JMP. It was a very pleasent surpise. I guess it came with your "Director's Cut" download? LOL Anyway, I've been using it in my Frat house to hurry two of my Sims out of college and make room for more of my neighborhood teens to go off to college. I haven't been able to play my neighborhood for a week because I have sooo many college kids, so I decided to concentrate on Uni, graduate all those sims, then bring on their younger siblings. Your clock helped. Why did you hide it, though? It only shows up on the "infinity" menu under decorations.
It's not hidden. It normally is supposed to appear in Misc/Misc along with all the other, well, random crap.
