How Do I Doors

when playing uni if i put a sim into a dorm or off capus house there are no doors and i have no way of controling the sim, i have tried all three capuses and one i created but the same thing happens.
i've got all expansions except seasons and i don't have any stuff packs

i've got no background tasks on except for tskmngr.exe and explorer.exe i've uninstalled the games 10 times, i've reformatted the drives there on but the same problem keeps comming up.

Can anything be done to stop this from happening as i reallly want to play uni i've done everything the ea site says to do (i don't want to have to buy uni for the 13th timecry:

i don't have uni, BV or pets loaded at the moment
patches have had no effect on the doors exact same problem as i first mentioned.

i don't know if this is related but at anytime during gameplay without warning my computer restarts itself for no apparent reason.

 

First upgrade your graphics card driver. See the FAQs for links for your ati card.

If that doesn't fix it, your next task is run a full virus scan with a good and up to date anti-virus program.

Report back if this doesn't do the trick.

oke i'll try the upgrade, i regulary do a full system scan and virus scan and they always comes up with no problems, you gotta give me a break i've been busy studying for my HSC and i have had to change ISP 8 times in a month due to problems with the ISP's.

i've upgraded my graphics and done a full sysytem scan plus i have tried some patches again but the doors keep disapearing even when i have the walls up, when i enter a lot whether it be a comunity or residential lot alot of items are discoloured.
