EA to slim down games for 2010 Despite the 1500 jobs cut from EA this year, EA is still trying to slim down in order to increase profit.* During the Reuters Global Media Summit event yesterday, EA CEO John Riccitiello stated that the studio reduced their plans from 50 games to 40, with a slight possibilty to even drop further. I’d love to say that these games are your so-called ‘Littlest Pet Shops’ and other misc. casual games, but to my surprise those actual sell and gain a profit because they are cheap to produce.* I just hope that there are no Spore games on the list to be cut.* As for Sims games…it’s a safe bet none of those were cut – those sell like hotcakes. link here via Kotaku Share and Enjoy: Related posts: EA’s Q1 2010 results – Sims 3 sells 3.7 Million!
