Energizer Jump Problem I tried to use the energizer last night and my sim jumped out of it before receiving any benefits from it. The lightbulb went dim, but otherwise nothing else. The same sim (and her date) jumped up from the table earlier in the evening at a restaurant when I tried Entertain/Toast. She was extremely hungry (in the orange). Could that have something to do with it? Is this a download problem? Do I have the jump bug? What's going on? My game has never behaved like this before. I'm going to do the downloads test tonight but was wondering if anyone else had had this problem.
That doesn't make me feel better. :( I'm hoping that disabling custom content will get rid of the problem.

I had a Sim jump bug when going to eat at a sectional booth, but any jump bug worries me. I hope people figure out where this one is coming from.
Thanks! I thought it was time for a change, now that we can make our own avatars. She's become my main sim, kind of accidentally, so I thought it was appropriate. I've used the energizer since with no problems, but I haven't played that family yet, so I'm not sure if it's just that sim or what. I don't tend to overuse the energizer for non-vamps, anyway, so no biggie. I'll try not to worry about it too much.
Wish you could only disable some of the custom content rather than the all or nothing approach maxis wants to take. I know, I know! There are a number of ways to turn off individual content........ But I'm talking about at the game boot up.
I agree. Of course, you could delete all custom files you didn't want and then enable content with the ones you have left. But you knew that. I do miss the convertible BMW I downloaded from various simmers, but I think it was slowing my game down. My computer can only handle so much and custom seems to put it over the edge. It was almost running as slow as my old chip did, for a while. Can't have that!
