Erasing a sim from another sim's memory?

Lets simplify my previous request about altering loyalities a great deal.

Simply put: How do I make one sim forget another sim?
    Poof, gone, erased from memory.
End a bugged relationship and start it over without bugs.

(In my case, let Albert forget the father that he freakin' havn't met since his birth and shouldn't be able to relate to in the way he does at the expense of his stepmom.)

I don't know if Sim's are smart enough to do that on their own. You might have to do some creative storytelling...

Something like, kill off the father and re-create him as a new family. Then once he's in the neighborhood, you can start building the relationship from scratch, although he won't be the biological father...

I'm pretty sure you can't do a "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" on your Sims - though that might be interesting...

I'm also sure it can't be done ingame. Was thinking more along the line of editing the save file.

As for killing off the father. Yes, I have considered it.
But his family is also a good part of the neighbourhood. :ermm:

    He'll live.
He's just very very depressed right now.
He took a -5000 aspiration hit for "being found out" with "cheating" on his FORMER girlfriend with his WIFE.
Then he took a -3500 aspiration hit for "finding out" that his FORMER girlfriend was "cheating" on him with her WIFE.

Why can't people just accept facts as they are without having to learn it the hard way?? :ponder:

Oh well, all is well now.
Sucks to be Adam, but that's his problem.
Sheena didn't mind (except that she's a bit pissed off at him for making a huge scene and all), and the kids she have with Adam at last respects her love for her wife.
