FAMILY FUN STUFF! I need help

I bought the family fun game and put it on my computer, when I play a house it is flashing in red, making it impossible for me to see the wallpaper, I though it was the game so I took it back and got a new one, but it also does the same thing, I have all the expansion packs and when I uninstall family fun it goes back to working fine. My computer meets all the requirements. I am lost is there soething I am doing wrong. Please help!
