Fight training with the Social bunny This is one of the funny things I have ever saw and just wanted to share. The son of my "bully" sim, who is himself a bully in training (the encourage grouchiness interaction is funny) was low on the social meter. After depriving him of social interactions, because I wanted to see what would happen, the social bunny dropped in. First of all, let me just say, what the heck? ROFL. Whoever at Maxis thought of the idea of the social bunny was just brilliant in my opinion. The bunny has one eye missing and looks kind of ruffled. It hops around...LOL...I'm sorry I just think that bunny is one of the creepiest yet funniest things I have ever seen in my life. Imagine if that thing was real and it came hopping after you? LOL Anyway... so in drops the bunny and he just stands there, so I had my bully in training attack him. (i wanted to see what would happen) Amazingly my sims social and fun bar rose as they fought. This was his first fight and he won and has a memory of beating the social bunny! After the fight the bunny just stood there. I was expecting the bunny to attack my sim, although it did give him the "talk to the hand" gesture after getting picked on. I guess he knows that he is there to raise social no matter what abuse it takes. LOL. I had my sim pick on him and slap him around a little more and the bunny just hopped away. Meanwhile my sims father was walking around doing the cookoo thing because of course he can't see the bunny. Finally the school bus came and the social bunny went back to where it came from. I had a nocrybabies hack installed but I wonder if the bunny would have cried for getting beat up and picked on. Anyway, I've learned that the social bunny (no matter how creepy) makes a good sparring partner for the simmies to get some fighting experience. LOL
I almost killed the social bunny once. I should have, just to see what would happen. It was in my old game, when I was attempting to make a haunted house. Para Normal was drowning in the pool and her sister Abby jumped in after her, followed by the social bunny. No ladders! I didn't want Abby to drown (she starved to death instead, heh heh) so I put a ladder in. If I hadn't, I wonder if I would have gotten a social bunny ghost. Now THAT would have been funny. I had the funniest Grim Reaper interaction from that one, too. Here they all are in the pool, and Grimmy is standing on the water, shaking his head like, "what a bunch of morons."
Well, fighting experience does nothing unless you have The Fight Club hack. Otherwise fighting outcomes are basically entirely random and there is nothing you can really do to really improve your odds by a noticeable degree. However, you should probably avoid any action that may cause the Social Bunny to become furious, since this will cause it to appear in your relationship panel, in a kind of messed-up way.
Yes Mr. Pescado I have the Fight Club hack. LOL I didn't know the Social Bunny could get furious. He didn't seem like he was getting mad. I will watch it though .
After I killed off the "Normal" twins I moved a guy named Bob Roberts into the haunted house and played a game called "torture Bob." Bob was so unpleasant even the social bunny hated him. All they did was fight with each other. It was hilarious. This was before NL, though, so I didn't get to see the "furious" reaction. The SB didn't even show up in the list of acquaintances, yet.
Yeah, I don't think he showed up in my sim's list of people either. I sure don't want the bunny hopping by knocking over my garbage cans. Could you imagine if the bunny dropped in and did the fist punch/getting ready to beat you down, animation at your sims. LOL.
Yes, they can drown if you make them go into the pool and take out all the ladders. Eventually they sink to the bottom. I love watching that animation.
Because it was such a popular way to murder sims in TS1, they even added a special "Yoo Hoo" warning bubble, the one with the ladder missing! I about rolled when I saw that.
