Firefox Users - New Plug In Boosts DL Speeds Firefox is fab but downloading can be a pain. I've used various download managers but DownTHEMall takes the blue ribband. Word of warning. Installing this plug will result in you downloading hundreds of items in the time you used to spend downloading a couple of dozen. Still up for it? Here's the link https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=201&application=firefox Gotta go ... so many fab things to download
Unknown (by me). Although I wouldn't really expect such a seriously dodgy aspect to remain unnoticed by the expert community. I guess I'm saying I'm prepared to trust stuff that comes from mozilla. I would also still use my virus protection to scan exe's, scripts, macro containing files such as doc, xls, etc. I hope, rather than believe, the malicious software peeps haven't yet woken up to the idea of bundling their little packets of joy into Sims 2 package files ... now that is a development devoutly to be feared.
I've had that fear myself Mirelly, about virus' being included in a sims downlaod. And thanks for the heads up about the plug-in, I love firefox, but have noticed my downloads are a bit slower in using it, hopefully this will fix it. I'll post here if I have any issues with it to let others know.
