    foreign sims 2??

    well, i wonder,

if you have the base game sims 2 in english,

but you moved to a foreign country and purchased a expansion pack in the foreign version, and installed it (if you can even install it normally)

will you be able to operate the game normally while having the base game & expansion pack(s) in two different versions?

what about the other way around (base game-foreign, expansion-english)?

Hi! :) I think the base game has all versions, before starting installation it will ask what version you want to play with. The same goes for EPs. I bought most of my games in Portugal, but twice I've ordered EPs from England and it was OK. I play in two different languages, mostly I play in French, but often I will uninstall the last EP and install it again to play in Italian, and the major problem I had so far was, once, with the names of the older members of some (of my own) families, somehow the game gave them new names in the other language (and some ladies got masculine names and some men got feminine names) It was not that bad because the youngest kept their names and surnames and it's always nice to have a granny called Jacques.
