Game crashes after patch installation. I recently came back to The Sims 2 after denying my addiction for a year. I installed The Sims 2 and University only, and played for about 2 weeks before I remebered that a patch was released for University. After installing it yesterday, the game freezes at the load screen with looping sound, then terminates itself with a message saying that it crashed. Is there any way to uninstall the patch or fix the problem otherwise?
