Gameplay Error(s) I loaded The Sims 3 onto my laptop, I launch the game, and a runtime error message pops up. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Program: C:\program files\electronic arts\EADM\core.exe I can still "play" the game, but all the visual information is missing. For example in Create A Sim, all the menu's exist, but you can't see your character. Or if you just go straight to gameplay, only the menu's appear, but no 3-d environment (sims, town, houses, absolutely nothing). I believe my computer has all the requirements to play the game, but I'm assuming it has something to do with the runtime error that only pops up when I launch The Sims 3. Please Help....

Those drivers are 5 years old! Try installing this. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownlo...spx?type=2.4.2&product=2.4.2.3.1&lang=English Also, update to SP3.
