Gaming as a career Has anyone reached the top of the Gamer career? What's a Gold Farmer, anyway? (Does this betray my total lack of sophistication in the world of video games?)
A Gold Farmer is someone (found on MMORPGs) who makes a lot of gold (or whatever currency is used on the particular game) and then sells it to the public for real cash.
Ah, yes, I've heard of that: I've avoided ever playing Second Life because I have a feeling it would take over my life even more than the Sims. At least all my Simoleans (and occasional lack thereof) don't translate into real life except in terms of missing work...
