Generation question I started a family from scratch and they had a daughter. The daughter is now in college and engaged to Keith Cormier. I wanted to know...when they get out of Uni and are ready to get married if I make her take his name then what will happen to that little generation tree? Will he be added to it or will she be taken away from it?
Her family tree will show all her connections including her parents, children, and spouse with her centered. If you click on one of her parents' family trees, it will show her as one of their children, and she will have an ellipses beneath her picture indicating that she has more connections. Then, if you click on her, it will show her personal connections as I've outlined them above. If you click on her husband, it will show him, his spouse (her), and their children, and there will be connections to her or an ellipses with her showing that she has more connections that are not necessarily related by blood to him, etc.
