Getting tagged by ‘The Sims 3 Application’ on facebook? WARNING – SPAM! Luckily I’m yet to become a victim but I have read that many other fans are.* If you see that you have been tagged in a Sims 3 picture, whatever you do, do NOT click the link that asks you to install “The Sims 3 Facebook Application“.* It passes itself off as an official application by EA but in reality, does nothing but send you spam and more application requests.* I expect it to be removed soon, but in the meantime I’m giving you a heads up in case you happen to get any odd message on Facebook about this app. Link to the spam application (DO NOT JOIN OR ADD TO YOUR PROFILE!)
