Glitches? I recently got the Celebration Stuff and H&M Fashion Stuff expansions, and it seems something was affected. I install all the expansion packs in the order they were released. After each installation, the "check to see if game is up to date" never had to update before; I think it's because each expansion was built upon updates for the previous one. But after installing Celebration, it updated Pets, which was strange because I had Seasons, and it came after Pets, so shouldn't they update that? Then after installing H&M Fashion, it updated Pets again, and then it updated Seasons. I'm not sure if that's what caused these glitches, but I felt it should include it. I have no custom content or done any modifications. 1. If the radio or speaker system (in game) is on, and I mouse over it, say to change the station or turn it off, the game freezes for about 3 seconds before returning to normal. This happens everytime. 2. It's difficult to join a dartboard game. Often, only the "Watch" option comes up when I click it. I can play by myself, but when other Sims are playing, the problem comes up. Other times, when I am playing darts with other Sims, no one is throwing. Everyone stands around, sometimes not even along the sideline, and just talk. Sometimes they don't even appear to be talking to each other at all, but just into blank space. 3. It seems every girl (I'm playing as a guy Sim) has Chemestry or attraction to my Sim. If I talk to a girl, the lightning bolt sign shows up in the relationship window. If a girl walks by, and I never talked to them in my whole Sim life, the hearts fly from her and a thought bubble with my face appears. I only talked to maybe four or five girls so far, so perhaps it's just a string of coincidences? It still feels like a glitch. *edit* Okay, I think there really is a problem with the Chemistry and Love system. People are falling in love with everyone they see. It also happened between two guys. 4. One time, a single window frame turned unaturally blue, but changed back about a day later (in game time). 5. Load time in general seems a tiny bit slower, maybe it's just me though. 6. Splash screen music sounds weird, like a remix of an old theme music form Seasons or Pets. I don't know if it's intentional or my computer is screwing with me. 7. The computer sometimes creates a glow on the wall and desk and surrounding furniture even when it's off. I have to turn it on and turn it off to make the glow disappear. 8. Auto-light is on, but outside lights sometimes do not turn on when I walk outside. 9. Once or twice, the area near a flight of stairs is just complete black, not dark or shadow, but pitch black and clearly does not match the surrounding environment. It turns back to normal after the sun comes up. *edit*10. My Sim keeps thinking about himself. Often, though bubbles appear above his head with his own picture in it. These are all experienced when I'm playing in University. I haven't played as a normal family yet. These are the ones I've encounter so far, but I only played for a day, so there might be more to come. Perhaps someone recognize these problems and know a solution?
I just installed fashion stuff too, and as far as number 6 go's it sounds like I'm getting the same remix music as you. I had just updated with the new seasons patch, so I didn't get that update when I installed it, but I did get the Pets one. They must've updated the update. :yes:
