just a wild guess here, but id check the airflow in the case. specifically around the graphics card. i seem to be getting BSOD's on my system which bring up that same error message. this really only happens on graphics intensive games. and at the same time the top of the case and the air coming out the back is really warm. probably doesnt help that the heatsink on the video card is butted up right against the modem below
This sounds a lot like you have issues with your graphics card, either by overheating, or some other fault. These type of errors would be caused by stress being put on the card by the game, and the card not being able to handle it. (And TS2 does put stress on your graphics card). I would suggest taking your PC to the place you purchased it (after making backups of all vital data) and getting them to look at the problem. I had the same issues a while back with my graphics card, and found it was the heatsink, which I replaced.

I would definitely try running the game with minimum display/graphic settings to see if the error is still repeatable. It is summer in the northern hemisphere. Is it very hot where you are? Is there airconditioning? Is the computer case perhaps in a hotspot (like on a sunny window?)
