Graphics/Display Fault - Very Peculiar One Okay! So. I just re-installed TS2, Uni, and OFB, and I'm getting the same errors as before! I'm pretty sure my computer meets all the system requirements, and I make sure all my background tasks are closed before installing or playing the game! What's up?!: I select the Goth family to play. The startup screen loads normally. When it's finished loading, the menu with all the family members, etc., is there, but the screen is black! I can hear all the sims going about their business, but I can't see anything... And if I try to select anything on this black screen, the selection menu with Cassandra's head appears but the screen starts twitching. And if I select somewhere else on this black screen, her head with the selection menu will appear again! (With the other one still there)... Perty darn weeeird... Yeah, so any help would be MUCH appreciated!! THANK YOU!!! :knockedout:
That is weird. Don't have much idea of what's wrong with your system specs though. I edited the title BTW so people won't ignore a rather pointless title
Kay... and now I've re-installed the game AGAIN! This time I didn't install the eps. Just TS2. And w/o playing ANY of the other families, I try to go into the Goth family, and this time the startup screen with the family photo becomes the background, with the task menu still at the bottom of the screen, and the lil sims still going about their business like normal... Huh?! Is this maybe a scratch on the disk? (I can't see any marks...) Or a problem with the video card? (It should be compatible... Extasy ATI Radeon 9200 SE.) Or what?! I' at my wit's end!! Thanks for any suggestions!!
Sorry for my bad typing. I should have said: "Don't have much idea of what's wrong withOUT your system specs" We need to see you system specs sweetheart. Look at my signature line below this message for the Freq Asked Questions ... one of those tells you how to get the exact details we need before we can advise.
