    Greenhouse lights

How many greenhouse lights do you need to sufficiently warm your greenhouse? Is it one per every patch of soil, one per every x number of soil patches, one for every greenhouse, regardless of size? I never quite know how many to put in.

    Thanks!

Personally, I put one light over every patch of soil I have, and all my crops have turned out amazinly, sold strawberries for something like 300 simoleons a bush?

LOL craziisimmer, at $2000 a throw those lights are growing some very expensive strawberries. ;)

I have one for every 2 patches, which is probably still to many but money isn't an issue since 5 Sims reached the top of their carreer and they're raking in the green like there is no tomorrow LOL
Plus all have the golden gardening batch...so the crops bring good money too

I suppose if you buy the lights only once, and the strawberries keep on growing, they get cheaper and cheaper over time.

I've done so little with what Seasons has to offer, I am becoming seriously embarressed. No gardening, for instance. The most I've done is stomp puddles after a rainstorm.

And you get once crop per 6 days, a sim might live long enough to get a return on investment. Im using one light per greenhouse ... but then I'm still raking leaves on my first autumn so what would I know anyway. :p

Yup it's 3am here, by the way (in answer to your query in another post. Although sometimes I am online but not actually at keyboard. I often go to bed while logged in. My sleep patterns have always been bizarre and they get worse the older I get..

Nivek has pm-ed me to ask what I mean by "hate is hard work" ... explain it him/her for me. I'm going to grab and hour or two of shut eye.

Another glorious week of spring beckons. Thanks to global warming, Spring is rapidly becoming Britland's best season. We've had two weeks of sunny days, most of them mildly warm, with a few light showers to keep the gardens green. I'm going to have a right bumper crop of weeds this year ...

Every 6 days? Sheesh, what's that in Sim years? Practically a lifetime. Before Seasons I had downloaded some crops from MTS2 and my sim was busy every day all day long with harvesting. The vegetables just kept on coming. Even the hired gardener took to harvesting to help my sim out.

I'm really going to have to try out things in the game besides just building movie sets, which take a great deal of time. It also happens to be fun, but I miss out on things, like gardens.
