H-Sphere Upgrade Completed <div style="color: #000080; padding: 2px;">H-Sphere Upgrade Completed</div><div style="font-size: .9em; margin-bottom: 12px; border-bottom: 1px solid #000080; padding: 2px; border-top: 1px solid #000080;">Friday, August 1, 2003 by Kevin Stange</div><div style="font-size: 1em;">The H-Sphere upgrade took place in about 8 minutes, rather than the 30 minutes I had allotted, and there were no visible complications. Users of the control panel will notice that they can now add mail domain aliases to pair up with any domain aliases they have added. This means that if I aliased simgames.net to simgames.com, I could add a mail domain alias which would allow email sent to kevin@simgames.com to be delivered to the same mailbox as my normal email address. This feature could be useful for members with multiple domains pointing to the same site. The Apache HTTP server update is not yet available, so it will be done at another time in the near future. While I was poking around, I noticed that the SimGames.net news mailing list feature was not working, so I fixed it and improved the feedback from the subscription system. You can subscribe to this list to get SimGames.net news updates delivered to your email address automatically. The subscription form is at the bottom of the home page. Please be sure to report any possible new issues that you come across while using H-Sphere, so we can examine and correct them as quickly as possible.</div>
